CRYSTAL AGE (SWEDEN)

CRYSTAL AGE, a Death Metal band, was forged in Gothenburg by CEREMONIAL OATH vocalist / guitarist Oscar Dronjac, ex-LIERS IN WAIT guitarist Moses Jonathon Elfström and drummer Hans Nilsson. A debut demo was recorded in January 1994. The group covered METALLICA's 'Damage Inc.' for the 1994 Black Sun Records tribute album 'Metal Militia', before unleashing their debut album the following year. Dronjac had also been a member of Black / Thrash act DESECRATOR. Interestingly, a band created by Dronjac and bassist Frederick Larsson purely for fun in 1993 was later to overtake CRYSTAL AGE, this band was HAMMERFALL.
